Benidorm hosted the International Umpire Course in Hall of the Gran Hotel Bali with the participation of 142 referees from 26 countries and members of AETF, on between them Master Loboda President of AETF.
The course was coordinated by Gmaster Bos ITF Director and aptly led by Master Master Katz Ottensen and collaboration with members of the Umpire Committee and ITF competition Committee, the Masters Cos Van de Heuvel, Vones, Suarez, Cecconato.
The course was developed in a new way and schedule and it was a success, with many participants who express their greeting and saying that was the best course of umpires which had attended. The course clarified many doubts and covered all the changes, it was shown the new method of scoring in different modalities in a competition to improve the event.
It was agreed that three Committee members of ITF will conduct the EUROS in Sweden in order to guarantee a good application of the new ITF rules.
The members of the Umpire and competition Committee’s, were received at City Hall by the Sport Council where they held a press conference in which Gmaster Bos, explained details of the IUC, from the Committee was shifted here to visit the facilities of the Palace sports and visited the hotel that will host the World Cup referees.
