Newsletter 1/2013 Open Dutch Last Update
Dear Grandmasters/Masters/instructors/competitors,
Through this letter the latest updates for the “Open Dutch” Championships which will be on the 20th of January 2013 in Best, Netherlands. The entry are closed and there are now around 650 competitors from 14 country’s. That’s amazing and we are proud on it. The tournament will take place into 2 halls! As Head of Umpire is Master Coos van de Heuvel in charts, so experience for sure!
The “Open Dutch” will be the first tournament with the new ITF-rules. This means that every competitor on this tournament has to use a head guard! The organisation is not have for the competitors and there will also not a shop at the tournament where you can buy them. So be prepared please. Further we use the new weight divisions and the updated rules in team-sparring.
Special guest at the tournament will be Grandmaster Wim Bos and Grandmaster Ung Kim Lan, Master Per Andersen from Norway and Master Ray Gayle from England.
