Newsletter 4/2012 94th Anniversary of Gen. Choi’s Birthday
Today, on November 9th, 2012 we would have been celebrating the anniversary 94th birthday of General Choi Hong Hi, our Taekwon-Do Founder and President of International Taekwon-Do Federation.
How do we remember him?
If asked “Who you are?” General Choi used to answer proudly: “I have two different names. One is Choi Hong Hi, which was given to me by parents; the other is Taekwon-Do which was given by haven”. I do not mind being addressed either way.” *
On the day of his birthday anniversary we have to remember Gen. Choi as his legacy is being continuing by us and Taekwon-Do has became a passion of thousands of its practitioners all over the world.
We are proudly trying to follow General Choi Hong Hi's dream.
