Newsletter 4/2012 III Eagles Cup Report
Sasok Sport Club, one of the biggest Taekwon-do clubs in Hungary organized the III. Eagles Cup International Taekwon-do Championship in the city Sport Hall of Üllő. This year we had 250 competitors from 28 clubs of 5 countries - which numbers were far beyond our expectations.
Besides the bests of the Hungarian Taekwon-do competitors there were TKD practitioners from Austria, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine. To be in line with continuous improvement, we organized the III. Eagles Cup that way to have all of the types of events available. So there were three age groups competing in pattern, sparring, pre-arranged free sparring, special technique and power test categories in individual and in team versions also.
The most important feature of this competition is that we use the round robin system (everyone fights with everyone) dividing the categories into groups with 3-4-5 person per groups. This system is really costs time of course, although it is quite fair and spectacular.
Besides the individual medals and diplomas there were some special prizes for the best competitors and for the best teams also. You can see the list of bests of the bests below:

We can say now that we provide the full scale of Taekwon-do competition programme for children, juniors and seniors and through this we would like to be stable host of a well known and popular Taekwon-do championship which worth to see worth to take part in.
