The closing date for entries for the ITA Irish Cup is fast approaching. This 2 day event will be for competitors aged 14 - 17 years and 18+ on Saturday the 17th, with categories for colour belts and black belts. Black belt sparring will be run on a pool and repechage system and the new ITF weight categories will be in effect.

Patterns will be designated pattern for black belt and optional pattern for colour belts. Sunday the 18th will be for ages 7-13 years with categories for all colour belts.

Last years Irish Cup attracted 530 competitors to the sate of the art University of Limerick (venue where the IUC was held in June 2012). We invite all ITF practitioners to this event where you are sure to experience a high level of competition. ITA finished as the top association at the ITF World Cup in Brighton, so we can promise quality competitors and a very positive experience.
