Newsletter 2/2012 29th edition of the Italian Champ
The 29th Italian Tae Kwon-do championship was held in Piombino Italy Betwen march 17 and 18 2012. The event was organized by ASD FITAE, ASI, the Team Tae Kwon-do Piombino and the city of Piombino. Piombino is the organizer of this event for the second time thanks to a perfect organization and a central location.
The event was also marked by the presence of Gran Master Willem Jacob Bos and the President of FITAE Master Carmine Caiazzo.
The competition was directed by 46 referees directed by Master Giovanni Cecconato and by M° Stefano Minotti. Children category, teenagers and adults with 329 athletes belonged to 39 Italian teams. The competition was a great success also for the presence for M° Massimo Persia, ASD Martial Art Center of Avezzano, who won, for the 11st time, the golden medal.
