Organized by the ITF Taekwondo Association of Sarajevo Canton, The 5. technical Taekwondo seminar took place in the period 31.03 - 01.04.2012. The seminar was conducted by international instructor Okerić Elvedin IV dan, and Džaka Nijaz III Dan. The seminar was hosted by “Tornado” Taekwondo club, who brought together 30 athletes from various Sarajevo Taekwondo clubs. An interesting characteristic of the seminar is that this was the first time in Sarajevo, that such an event was conducted by domestic Instructor (Okerić). The program was very rich in content: it included patterns, sparring, self-defense, and sports injury first aid treatment.. As to the first aid treatment, Dr. Maja Hadžimehić, in a very explicit and practical manner, demonstrated how to deal with issues that taekwondo practitioners usually encounter.

There was great progress in the development of ITF Taekwon-do in the last 7 years in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Great credit for the development of taekwon-do belonging to Mr. Vahid Drapič from Slovenia, a man who unselfishly spreading his knowledge in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This seminar is a continuation of his work and effort by his students.

“Tornado” Taekwondo club proved to be a good host to the seminar, and we express our satisfaction with the overall successful realization of the event.
