The recent INTA ITF Open 2012 held in Kilkenny, Ireland drew together a total of nine Masters including ITF Vice President Master Paul Weiler VIII (Germany), INTA President Master Brendan O’Toole VIII, INTA Vice President Master Val Douglas VII, Master Gerry Martin VII (Ireland), Master Kenneth Wheatly VII (Ireland), Master Neil Franks VII (Ireland), Master Frank Van Berghen VIII (Belgium), Master Sheena Sutherland VIII (Scotland) and Master Ray Nicolaisen VII President ITF Norway in addition to Mr Martin Flemming President of the Irish Taekwon-Do Union (ITU) official WTF National Association in Ireland.

The tournament ran over two days and was made up of five rings and over 350 competitors. The event attracted World and European medallists, confirming the calibre of the competitors and acknowledgment of the professional and logistical commitment of the Irish National Taekwon- Do Association (INTA) in this prestigious event.

The INTA would like to thank all those who partook in the event, both competitors and umpires. The chance to view the very high skill level displayed by students, attention to detail on the part of the umpires, and opportunity to welcome old and new friends made for a very successful and enjoyable weekend.
