Newsletter 1/2012 Black Belt Seminar in Poland
From a long time Polish Taekwon-Do Association values the function of education and tuition of the instructors. This constant increasing of the level of their knowledge and abilities is one of the purposes responsible for successes of polish competitors in international competition. The coaches it selves appreciate very much the opportunity to take part in such kind of trainings and they are participating in large numbers in those seminars. So it was this time.
On the weekend January 7th – 8th, 2012 in Lodz (central Poland) there was a seminar held, which was directed especially to instructors but also to all holders of the black belts. The person responsible for the organization of the seminar was Mr. Michal Cytryniak, 4th Degree, the head instructor of Center Taekwon-Do Lodz.
The goal of such seminar is common training with the emphasis on improving very complex combinations with complicated movements or sequences of movements done in opposite direction than those functioning in patterns, which gives people much fun and satisfaction as well as performance of all 24 patterns together with reminding of all technical details.
The content and the arrangement of the exercises were prepared by Master Jerzy Jedut – 7th Degree, who conducted the seminar. Special guests were Master Janusz Gutkowski - 7th Degree and Master Tadeusz Loboda – 7th Degree, who actively participated in the whole classes.
Such seminars are also an opportunity to exchange once points of view, to discuss different subjects as well as to get the update news from Taekwon-Do world in Poland and abroad. The classes are usually not too intensive but they need a lot of concentration from the participants.
On Saturday evening the participants got together in one of the restaurants in Lodz for dinner. The city of Lodz made a huge impression on all participants by its numerous, Christmas illuminations.
All attendees were so much satisfied with the seminar in Lodz so they decided that the next training session for black belts only will take place also in this city. After the morning classes on Sunday all who wished could stay longer for individual consultation with Master Jedut.
