On Saturday 19th November 2011 at the conference room of Boruta Hotel was held Election Statutory General Assembly of Polish Taekwon-Do Association in Zakopane. It is a town situated in southern Poland. It lies in the southern part of the Podhale region at the foot of the Tatra Mountains.
The meeting was attended by 52 participants, out of which 38 were delegates. After verification of the documents it appeared the three persons have not taken the proper confirmations, thus they were deprived their voting rights.
At the general assembly many subjects regarding the situation of PTA were discussed. Among others the political situation in Poland, what steps should be taken to develop Teakwon-Do ITF and PTA Calendar.
The most important point of agenda was the election. The newly elected PTA Board of Directors consist of the following members:

After the meeting at the same hotel took place the official banquet for the delegates. Master Tadeusz Loboda handed the Orders of Merit on behalf of the Minister of Sport and Tourism in Poland and congratulation letters to the best activists, instructors and coaches for their great contribution into the development of Taekwon-Do in Poland.
Polish Taekwon-Do Association was the sponsor of the banquet. The delegates were also given the suit covers with the logo of PTA and two pins as the souvenirs.
On the next morning, 20th November 2011, at 9 a.m. the first meeting of newly elected Board of Directors begun. Two main subjects were PTA calendar and selection coaches of National Polish Taekwon-Do Team. Coaches of female team remained unchanged, Mr. Waldemar Dolecki and Mr. Grzegorz Ozimek will be continuing their functions. Mr. Michał Korzybski and Mr. Łukasz Stawarz were chosen as coaches of National Male Team.
The meeting finished about 12 o’clock. Afterwards most of participants went sightseeing this beautiful town and picturesque area and went for a walk to the mountains. The whole weekend went in a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere.
