11th Italian Open was held on 19th -20th November 2011 in Riva Del Garda, Italy. The 11th Italian Open has been a great success nevertheless that many other championships in Europe were realised at the same time and therefore the number of participants was less than other times. About 200 competitors from Italy, Portugal, Switzerland and Netherlands as well as coaches and umpires were present and according the comments all had a great time and are looking forward to the next Italian Open that might be organized in Rome.
Many thanks to our sponsor Top Ten who brought the jig-saw tatami mats and gave a polo shirt to the Umpires present at the event.
Eliminations were held on saturday and finals on sunday morning. The tournament schedule worked as well as all the other times.
Also many thanks to the local organizer Master Gabriel Fiorentini 6th degree and his staff members who have done a great job.
