Bulgarian Association of TKD Report

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

First of all I would like to express my gratitude to the managements of the ITF and AETF, who always help us in every issue or questions we have, and during the month of June 2011 Master Tadeusz Loboda and Master Jerzy Jedut personally visited our country and became acquainted with the development of Taekwon-do in Bulgaria.

Since 2007 the Bulgarian Association of taekwon-do develops Taekwon-Do ITF in Bulgaria, as the exclusive representative of the ITF and AETF. For the short time since its creation the association develops successfully, not meeting big difficulties, besides the fact that there is still no national license for the development of Taekwon-Do ITF in Bulgaria – due to the fact that the Chang Ung group has it. We continue working and we firmly believe that in the near future you will receive mentioned license which will help BAT for better planning and participation in international events.

Fulfilling its internal rules on 21of July 2011 meeting of the Board of Directors was held, and on 23 of July 2011 was held an analysis meeting attended by 13 representatives of the BD, Control Board and management of the standing committees of BAT. The meeting approved the report for the first half of 2011, which in abbreviated form we provide you.

Last half year was extremely fructiferous for the Bulgarian Association of Taekwon-Do, which continues to promote ITF Taekwon-Do successfully in Bulgaria, and even helped in recent months regarding the development of the Bulgarian sport - which is accepted very well by all sports organizations in Bulgaria.

Ventsislav Ignatov
President of the Bulgarian Association of Taekwon-Do
