Nearly 200 competitors from Wales, England, and Scotland gathered together in June to compete in the 4th Celtic Cup of Taekwon-Do. Competitors battled it out in Patterns, Sparring, and Special Technique. The level was high, with European and World medallists on show.

The Day Commenced with the Black Belt Divisions in Patterns and Sparring on 3 squares. Their were some great matches especially in the Male -63kg and -71kg Catagories. At Midday, the referees and our guests from Scotland and England, enjoyed refreshments from the buffet. Afternoon commenced with colour belt Patterns. The Junior Sparring divisions were very exciting, showing great potential for the future. The day finished with Special technique for Juniors, where heights of +220cm were reached by many.

The organising committee were very happy with the outcome of the day which finished on time at 1800.

Our Guests from Scotland and England made their way back to their 4star accomodation at the Holiday Inn in the Centre of Cardiff, and prepared for the After Party!!!

The party started at 1930 in the Angel Hotel, one of the best hotels in Cardiff, and finished at 0100. From there many people went on to see the Cardiff Night life!!!

We look forward to seeing everyone next year in February for the 5th Celtic Cup 2012.
