Fulfilling the first point of the plan of developing Taekwon-Do ITF in Serbia set by Master Loboda and Master Jedut during their visit in Bulgaria held between 4th -6th June 2011, on 2nd and 3rd July 2011 in Nis, Serbia on the invitation of the Taekwon-do Federation of Central and Southeastern Serbia, hosted by Nis Taekwondo Union, representatives of Bulgarian Association of Taekwon-do conducted technical seminar. The seminar was attended by 21 representatives of five Taekwondo sports clubs from the Republic of Serbia – Martial Arts Academy, Taekwondo Clubs "Dae-Han", "Naisus", "Tabu" and "Koryo". Taekwondo athletes are champions and taekwondo WTF, but are determined to increase their knowledge, develop and compete under the rules of Taekwon-do ITF, and to be founders of the future Serbian ITF Taekwon-Do Association. Members of the Bulgarian delegation were Mr. Ventsislav Ignatov - President of BAT, Mr. Julian Iliev – Vice President of BAT and Mr. Anton Ivanov - Chairman of the Umpire Commission of BAT.
Within two days or a total of 11 hours were presented all disciplines of Taekwon-Do ITF, namely pattern, sparring, traditional sparring, special techniques and power test.
International instructor Mr. Julian Iliev impressed Serbian taekwondists with his technique, balance and beauty in the performance of blocks and strikes with hands and feet, and with numerous exercises maintained a positive mood in the hall.
Mr. Anton Ivanov presented Umpire Rules and in particular drew attention to the sparring, in addition to sparring rules for competition and showed a large number of different combinations of sparring situations.
Mr. Ventsislav Ignatov had several meetings and talks with Serbian leaders in sports and martial arts, and the President of the Serbian ITF Taekwon-Do Federation Mr. Zvezdan Milenkovic agreed on a joint future camps and competitions that will strengthen the excellent relations between Bulgaria and Serbia which also will complete point 5 of the abovementioned plan. During the seminar Mr. Ventsislav Ignatov presented power test, and assisted to Mr. Anton Ivanov and Mr. Julian Iliev upon presentation of patterns, sparring and special techniques.
Bulgarian delegation was extremely well met, was accommodated in a hotel for sportsmen of Nis - "Chair". Food was plentiful, with many diverse advantages of meat which was in various combinations or so-called well-known in Bulgaria "Serbian grill."
Upon closing of the seminar Bulgarian instructors thanked to the Serbian taekwondists for their serious attitude to Taekwon-do ITF and wished them success in the forthcoming European Championship ITF Taekwon-Do in Bratislava, Slovakia.
