In the term 3rd – 14th July 2011 with the official visit to Poland came the delegation of the ITF ”Shine Munkh” of Mongolia. This is the official national association of Taekwon-Do ITF in Mongolia. It is recognized by Physical Culture and Sports Authority. The delegation was represented by Mrs Erdene Sambalkhudev, Secretary General and Mrs Solongo Sodkhuu. Mongolia is the 19th largest country all over the world with the population about 3 million. It is divided into 21 regions. In each one there is a Taekwon-Do ITF section.

Both ladies took part in the Central Taekwon-Do Summer Camp held in Biala Podlaska.

During the summer camp, on 11th July 2011, they visited the headquarters of All Europe Taekwon-Do Federation and Polish Taekwon-Do Association.

During their visit at the AETF HQ were raised subjects concerning rights and duties of national associations and usage of the ITF online database.

Due to the language barrier, the priceless was help in the translations of Mr. Bayarsaikhan Bayarkhuu, Ist Degree, the student of Taekwondo Mokotow Warsaw Club, who comes from Mongolia and has been living in Warsaw for many years. Mr. Bayarkhuu was not only the translator, but also took care for the delegation of Mongolia on behalf of Polish Taekwon-Do Association. He declared to help in the future.

We hope this meeting will encourage ITF ”Shine Munkh” of Mongolia to be more active, especially on the international level. The schedule of actions was planned for the next half of a year. At the meeting was handed the publication of ITF Quadrathlon Taekwon-Do ITF with the appreciation letter from GM Pablo Trajtenberg, ITF President.

After the meeting at the headquarters there was some time to sightseeing Lublin and exchange culture information, from which we have learned among others that the women are the majority of the Mongolian population and among the Taekwon-Do instructors. The meeting was in a very nice and friendly atmosphere.
