On the last weekend of May (27th -28th) 2011 in Hamburg (Germany) was held for the first time a seminar in Taekwon-Do ITF. The main organizer was Sportclub Choi’s Fighters Club in Hamburg, leaded by Mr. Miroslav Bakalarz, 2nd Degree.

The seminar was conducted by famous far and wide in the Taekwon-Do society Grand Master Ung Kim Lan, member of ITF Technical Instruction Committee, many-year long coach of German National Female Team, coach of many Individual World Champions, recognized the best coach during the World Championship 2007 in Quebec (Canada), head coach of Sport Club Budokan Dortmund e.V. as well as Master Jerzy Jedut, well known coach from MKS Lewart AGS Lubartów Club in Poland, who educated 8 individual Senior World Champions, took part in fourteen seminars with Gen. 35 participants from Germany and abroad took part in that seminar. The contestants were between 8th cup and 4th Degree for the thirteen – forty age range. Master Jerzy Jedut conducted 2 training sessions on Friday and one on Saturday Morning focusing on sparring drills. GM Ung Kim Lan conducted training sessions on Saturday afternoon in which the participants had opportunity to practice basic Taekwon-Do movements and patterns. At the end of that session a small color belts grading leaded by GM Ung Kim Lan was held in the sport hall. On Sunday, 29th May, 2011 the 1st Black Adler Cup was held. The participants performed patterns and were divided into different age categories.

The weekend was very intensive, but at the same time instructive, motivating, inspiring and brought lots of fun to all participants. The organization of the seminar and tournament was the first step in the development and strengthen of Taekwon-Do ITF in Hamburg. The host of Black Adlers Cup, Mr. Bakalarz, expects that both events will be organized in the future regularly and the number of participants will increase in the upcoming years.

The second edition of Black Adlers Cup is scheduled for the 9-11th March 2012, but that date needs yet to be confirmed. We will keep our members informed on that matter.
