On May 22nd 2011, in the city of Hadera, Israel began the 4th children’s Olympic Games.

5000 children participated in the competition. 13 sorts of sports were played by the participants such as, soccer, tennis, table-tennis, gymnastics, volley ball, beach volley ball, Taekwon-Do W.T.F, swimming, judo, hand ball, extreme sports and Taekwon-Do I.T.F. This was the first time that Taekwon-Do I.T.F participated in the children’s Olympic games.

Leonardo Oros Duek was chosen by the head chairman of the children’s Olympic games, Avi Benvenishti to be the Professional manager of the I.T.F Taekwon-Do tournament in the children’s Olympic Games.

Best results from the children’s Olympic games where: Zihron Yaakov took first place, yokneam second and Givat Ada and Hof Ha Carmel third place.

The children’s Olympic games event is the start of a partnership between the ministry of sports and Taekwon-Do I.T.F. The Israeli Taekwon-Do I.T.F Association hops for allot more partnership and events with the ministry of sports in the future.
