In the term 21st -24th April in the city of the Zvenigorod, located 30 km from Moscow took place the annual All Russia Taekwon-Do championships. This was the selection tournament for the European Championships to be held in Slovakia October 2011.

The All Russia Taekwon-Do Federation always tries to evaluate the organization and management of tournaments to achieve the highest standards of ITF and AETF tournaments and of course to provide the best service for our members. This is the way to improve the championships and the following improvements were made this year:

1. A free seminar for all umpires two days before the championships was conducted by Kim Maxim, the Chairman of the Umpire Committee.
2. Accommodation with full board for all umpires during the seminar and championships was paid by the All Russia Taekwon-Do Federation.
3. For the first time the electronic system was used. This system was designed and made in Russia specially for ITF Russia. It was working in all 5 dojangs.
4. For first time it was possible to watch the championships on-line on the special ITF internet channel. Three out of 5 dojangs were on-line. The highest number of visits was 1000 views simultaneously.
5. The medals were bigger and more beautiful than ever.
