Newsletter 1/2011 IIC Finland Update
Dear Grand Masters, Masters, Instructors & Friends,
We would like to remind you that the deadline for applying for the IIC in Finland is approaching. Please send all documents for the course as well as hotel and dinner banquet confirmations to iic2011@taekwon-do.fi by April 1st. The documents and general information package are attached below, or can be downloaded from http://www.taekwon-do.fi/tapahtumat/international-instructor-course-/.
Update: The IIC will be conducted by the ITF Technical Committee; Grand Master Hector Marano IX, chairman of the ITF Technical Committee and Grand Master Wim Bos IX, ITF Director. As you all already know Grand Master Pablo Trajtenberg was just elected ITF's new president in the ITF Congress in New Zealand and due to the busy schedule of his new role he is unable to attend this IIC.
Concerning accomodation, there are still rooms available in hotel Scandic Oulu but they can only be booked through the organizing committee of the IIC.
Those planning to test for promotion at the IIC must have the required approval and apply through the Secretary General of their association to the ITF Secretary General, Master Juan Ferrando (juan.ferrando@taekwondo-itf-spain.com), at least 1 month prior to the IIC. Please send a copy of the application also to iic2011@taekwon-do.fi. Please see the general info pack for additional information.
Those who require assistance with transportation, or have any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact the organizing committee at iic2011@taekwon-do.fi. We will do our very best to assist you. Please check flights straight to Oulu:
Preparations for the IIC are going very well and we are looking forward to welcoming you all to Finland and sharing a weekend of Taekwon-Do with you and the ITF Grand Masters.
