Moscow Open Cup
On 30th January 2010 in the capital of Russia took place the Moscow open cup.
Although the schools was closed because of fly epidemic in the cup participated 431 participants from 18 clubs and 6 regions of Russia. The sport hall was very small with only 3 dojangs but because of the electronic system and good work of umpires the tournament went smooth. The competitors competed in all ITF divisions, that are free sparing, pre arranged sparing, patterns, special techniques end power test.
Seminar in Omsk
Omsk (Russian: Омск) is a Russian city located in south-western Siberia. It is the administrative centre of Omsk Oblast. It is the second-largest city in the east of the Ural Mountains, and 8th by size nationally. Omsk is 1,389 miles (2,235 km) distant from Moscow (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omsk). The Omsk Regional Taekwon-Do ITF Federation was created several years ago and immediately joined the All Russia Taekwon-Do Federation.
In order to further development the Omsk Federation invited Mr Lazos Tsilfidis, the President of All Russia Taekwon-Do Federation to conduct the seminar in the term 19th -20th February 2011. It was a great surprise to see 187 participants! Mr. Viacheslav Nedelko, 3rd degree and organizer of seminar did a real good job. All participants were eager to learn and were asking many questions.
The next big event in Omsk will be the Open Sibiria Cup on 19th-20th March 2011, just after the world championships. Up till now 9 regions and 2 countries Kyrgystan and Kazakhstan declared their participation.
