In the term 17th – 19th December 2010 in Villorba, Italy was held the 7th I.T.F. Tournament & Umpire Course. Although the bad weather conditions and difficulties in travelling 56 participants from 16 countries: Belgium (2), England (2), Finland (2), Greece (6), Ireland (1), Israel (1), Italy (20), Norway (1), Poland (2), Puerto Rico (1), Russia (5), Scotland (3), Slovenia (1), Spain (1), Sweden (2), Ukraine (3) and USA (3) arrived.

The course was conducted by Master Alberto Katz, VIIIth Degree, the Chairman of the ITF Umpire Committee, Master Sandy Dunbar, VIIth Degree and Mr. Kurt Ottesen, the members as well as Master Coos van de Heuvel VIIth degree, the Chairman of the ITF Tournament Committee and Master Giovanni Cecconato, VIIth Degree, the member. As the quests GM Hector Marano, IXth Degree, the Chairman of ITF Technical and Instruction Committee and GM Willem Jacob Bos, the member.
During these two days were raised topics concerning judging and were given many information regarding tournament matters. This was very beneficial event improving the qualifications of ITF Umpires. The ITF Tournament and Umpire courses are very important in order to provide fair umpiring during the tournaments.
Participants were satisfied with the programme and topics.
