The “Opening sport season” cup is an annual event. This years' edition took place on 3rd October 2010 in Moscow. This tournament mostly focused on competitors from Moscow region and the main goal is to prepare them for more important upcoming events. Besides Moscovites, athletes from Tambov region also participated. Totally 250 competitors took part in this event.

Mr Nicolay Korolev, the chairman of Martial Arts Department of Russia Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy was a honourable guest of the cup.

It was a great beginning for the new sport season. We hope it will be lucky for Russian competitors.
