Tomaz Barada’s visit in Russia

Taekwon-do is thought as the art of life and it surely is a way of incredible, bright life. We get to travel the world, see the most beautiful places and make friends. These experiences make life more interesting and we get to live life to the fullest.

Having said that ITF Russia had showed a great hospitality to Tomas Barada and made sure his visit was one of the most unforgettable moments of his life. One of the popular ways of showing Russian hospitality is to take guests to sauna.

It was a very nice experience. Then we visited a Red Square. Red Square is often considered the central square of Moscow and all of Russia. We also saw weapon exhibition run by Vitali Gadrany on of the black belt holders of ITF Russia.

During the weapon exhibition we met Mr. Nikolai Valuev, two-time WBA heavyweight champion. Having 213 cm and weighing 150 kg is both the tallest and heaviest champion in boxing history.

The purpose of the visit of Mr. Tomaz Barada was to conduct the seminar regarding sparring, tactics as well as sharing his knowledge and experience as a coach and a competitor.

The venue of the seminar was the sports hall of one of the Russian secondary schools. In the seminar took part 116 participants, not only from Russia, but also there were 3 persons from Ukraine. The seminar was open for coaches and competitors. Attendants were very satisfied with the content of seminar, they all emphasize the fact that everyone had the opportunity to practise with the champion as well as that he performed all the combinations on his own because he is still in a good shape. These time was great not only for participants. The three days in Moscow were enough to make a big impression and amazed Mr. Barada.
