Alexander Tikhonov is a living legend of winter sport games, one of the most successful biathletes of all time, with nine world championship gold medals and four Olympic gold medals. Therfore Alexander Tikhonov has a big influence in the Ministry of sport and the National Olympic Committee. The president of ITF Russia Tsilfidis Lazaros has handed over a diploma of gratitude to Alexander Tikhonov for helping ITF Russia. The meeting took place in the building of Russian National Olympic Committee. This is according to ITF Russia policy to promote Taekwon-Do through influence of most popular and renowned personalities of Russia.
