ITF the Netherlands is on the eve of one of the major events of the ITF, the International Instructors Course held on November 19-21, 2010 in Utrecht. With preparations in full swing here is the last update.

PR and Marketing

For the IIC a special website has been developed with all the information for local and foreign visitors, see www.iicnetherlands.nl. There is a beautiful poster designed where the Dutch and the Event merge together. In the recent months during various events around the world, special press kits were made available.

Accommodatie

The facility is a completely new hall in the center of the city of Utrecht within walking distance of hotels, shops and transport, see http://www.nieuw-welgelegen.nl. The hotels are of high quality, see http://www.nh-hotels.com, but the price is only guaranteed until September 30, 2010 so watch this carefully! The sports Hal gets extra attention to this IIC and ITF Netherlands wants to make this event an example.

Applications

Many countries have committed to attend. Until now we have applications from Norway, Canada, Ireland and the Netherlands. Other countries have promised to attend like England, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Scotland, Afghanistan and there has also been interests from Iran, Sri Lanka, Algeria.

Program

The program is known and as being carried out under good conditions because there are two halls rented by the organization to give everybody the attention they deserves. Furthermore there are negotiations underway with the administrator of the hall and the catering to ensure that the service is excellent. The banquet has already drawn much attention.

Etiquette during an IIC

As everyone knows, our art has much customs in dealing in and outside the Dojang. Especially for members of ITF the Netherlands extra attention will be given during the coming Technical training on October 31, 2010. Being a good Taekwon-Doin means to properly interact physically, behaviorally and in manners. The development of a pupil includes the etiquette of Taekwon-Do!

Application

Send your application form not later then November 5th, 2010. The payment must be done before the start of the IIC at the registration desk. Cash payments for Degree exams should be made on the appropriate date of the examination. This will be announced by the Technical Committee of the ITF during the IIC.
