Sunday September 19th 2010 was the day that 34 referees were educated by the Tournament & Umpire Committee of ITF Nederland. 7 persons for centre referee en 27 for corner referee.

With the theoretically part in the morning and the practice in the afternoon the participants did their first part of the training. The second part is the real deal in two competitions doing the task as a referee. After this the referee is licensed. This is also a part of the testing requirements of testing for black belts in the Netherlands.

Under the participants were well known competitors as Jamil Chami, World Champion in 2007 Sparring Canada, Mitchell Arens European Champion Team Sparring and Bo Rook, European Champion Pre-Arranged Sparring, 2010 Sweden. We welcome them very much and appreciate their knowledge of competition for the next generation.
