7th I.T.F. Tournament & Umpire Course
On behalf of the International Taekwon-Do Federation - ITF we welcome you to the 7th I.T.F. Tournament & Umpire Course to be held in Villorba (Treviso) on December 17th and 18th , 2010. The course will be conducted by: Master Alberto Katz 8th degree, ITF Chairman of Umpire, Master Coos Van De Heuvel, ITF Chairman of Tournament 7th degree and special guest GM Hector Marano 9th degree, ITF Chairman of Instruction & Technique.
The course is open for Black Belts 1st degree and above.
The Course is necessary for Umpires wishing to become a qualified “A” ITF Umpire (4th degree and above) and a must for those Umpires participating at the upcoming World Champs to be held in New Zealand on March 2011.

- Friday December 17th, 2010 (or before) Arrivals at Hotel Holiday La Marca, Via Roma 104, 31020 Villorba (Treviso) arrivals before 17.00 hrs (www.holidaylamarca.it),

- knowing technical pattern matters
- how to judge pattern competition
- how to officiate as an Umpire in pattern competition
- how to use the electronic pattern system
12.00 – Lunch break
14.00 – 16.00 seminar – practice – sparring competition
- knowing sparring situations
- how to officiate in sparring competition
- how to judge sparring competition
- how to use the electronic system for sparring competition
16.00 – 16.15 break
16.15 - 17.15 seminar – practice – power and spec. technique competition
- knowing power and spec. technique situations
- how to officiate in power and spec. technique competition
- how to judge power and spec. technique competition
- how to use the electronic system for power and spec. technique competition
17.15 – 17.30 break
17.30 - 19.30 seminar – practice – Free Pre Arranged Sparring competition
- how to officiate in free pre arranged sparring competition
- how to judge in free pre arranged sparring competition
- how to use electronic system for free pre arranged sparring competition
19.30 – Closing of the Course and back to hotel
- Sunday, December 19th, 2010

- Outfit: On Friday evening suit and tie
- On Saturday tracksuit and gymnastic shoes
- Language: English, Italian and Spanish are the main spoken languages at this course.

€ 150 including organization costs
- Hotel:
€ 45 per day per person sharing a double room, breakfast included,
€ 75 per day per person in single room, breakfast included
