NewsletterIn the term 25th – 27th June 2010 the delegation of AETE consisted of Master Tadeusz Loboda, AETF President, Ms. Agnieszka Mazur, the PA to Master Tadeusz Loboda and Mr. Parviz Mamedov, V-ce President of ITF Asia went for business trip to Tbilisi (Georgia). The main goal of this meeting was to activate the countries of Kuakas region in the international Taekwon-Do life and to relay all information regarding the Constitutions, By-Laws, Policies and other important applications being in force in both AETF and ITF.
Master Tadeusz Loboda and his assistant were welcomed at the airport by Mr. Aleksander Gongadze, President of Georgian National Taekwon-Do Federation and Mr. Tengo Gongadze, Member of Parliament of Georgia.
The whole trip was planned for two days only, in order not to waste the time the first talks took place at the day of arrival. Just after reaching the hotel in the centre of Tbilisi because of the beautiful weather all participants gathered on the terrace. Apart of above mentioned there was also present Mr. Robert Meliq-Sahakyan, the Vice-President of Armenian Global Taekwondo Federation.
The day was finished by the sightseeing and an official dinner in one of the restaurant situated nearby the Kura River.
On Saturday, after the breakfast was held the second part of the meeting regarding the Taekwon-do procedures. Then the delegation went to the Sport Department for the appointment with Mr. Giorgi Galdava – Vice-Chairman of Department Sport of Youth in Georgia who has also represented Georgian Olympic Committee. At the meeting Mr. Giorgi Galdava gave the commemorative edition of annual publication about the Georgian sports achievements in the year 2009.
Of importance is the fact that Georgia is going to establish the ministry of Sport which will recognize both Olympic Taekwon-Do as well as our Georgian National Taekwon-Do Federation.
Afterwards there was a press conference, during which Master Tadeusz Loboda handed in the commemorative diplomas and the occasional souvenirs to the present authorities as well as to the leaders of the federations. After the press conference the participants of this meeting gave an interview to the national TV.
Next, there was held the third part of the discussion concerning the procedures during and the meeting with the coaches and instructors from Georgia.
Then the delegation was invited to the official dinner organized by Mr. Iosef Tadiashvili, the vice-president of Georgian National Taekwon-Do Federation, to Rustavi, one of the ancient towns of Georgia, situated 25 km southeast of the capital Tbilisi. Sport authorities of Rustavi as well as the Mr. Vitali Djaginovi, who was one of the precursor Taekwon-do in Georgia joined the meeting. He is currently one of the sponsors of Georgian National Taekwon-Do Federation and co-owner of technological company in Georgia.
Although packed schedule there was a time to do a little sightseeing and learn the beauty of this picturesque city.
On Sunday morning the AETF delegation left Tbilisi and went to Poland. This meeting was very needed. It let to know each other better and answered all questions and doubts regarding the procedures in our organization. We hope that we will hear soon about the Taekwon-Do activities in Kaukas region.
