Dear participants,

As president of I.T.F. Netherlands, and as Master, I am very honored to welcome the IIC seminar in the Netherlands, in the city where I have my own club: Taekwon-Do IN NAE DO KWAN, namely Utrecht. I have the great pleasure to invite you to this seminar, because we are, as the only I.T.F Taekwon-Do world organization, very progressive with our sport. General Choi Hong Hi has always said that Taekwon-Do is constantly evolving, this in contrast to many other Martial Arts.

Despite the tragic accident of our president Grandmaster Trân Trięu Quân in Haďti and the great loss the ITF has suffered, the development of our organization goes on. The Grandmasters who give this seminar are full of enthusiasm and are very inspiring. They are always open to criticism and feedback from participants, which they evaluate and use to improve for the next seminar.

After eleven seminars and 33 years in Taekwon-Do I am still learning and improving myself, these seminars are truly a source of inspiration. I always leave the seminars with all kinds of ideas to improve and to teach to my students. Hopefully I can welcome you all at the seminar.

With kind regards,
Sahyun James Tjin-A-Ton

Dear participants,

After many years a major ITF event, an IIC, is coming to the Netherlands! I hope that many ITF practitioners in the Netherlands will use this unique opportunity to train under the Grand Masters and Masters, and get up to date about all the details ITF Taekwon-Do.

Furthermore I hope that this IIC will contribute to the friendship and cooperation between the several ITF organizations in the Netherlands.

For myself an IIC means to get new knowledge and meet new/old Taekwon-Do friends.

With kind regards,
Sahyun Willy van de Mortel

Dear participants,

We are on the eve of an ITF event that is unrivaled in the Netherlands. Not a single organization is able to organize a course with the level that the training commission of our ITF brings. Where others are still hanging on to the past, the Grand Masters are working on the future, not looking to what others are doing wrong, but further developing our own strong points. The appropriate way in which they address recommendations and questions from members, makes the IIC what it is today. Dynamic – innovative - fatiguing - instructive and a must for everybody who practices Taekwon-Do at any level.

As chairman of the Tournament Committee I still experience how important it is to stay up to date to operate on a high level as a referee. Differing opinions on for instance rhythm and technique can be very detrimental for participants of various competitions (national and international). Unity of opinion is very important.

Never in the history of Taekwon-Do was it so easy to get knowledge: the Grand Masters are coming to you, almost at your home. Come to Utrecht so you can get updated fully and be super motivated, to enjoy Taekwon-Do even more.

Hope to see you all,
With kind regards,
Sahyun Coos van den Heuvel
