The junior Byelorussian competitors, in particular, showed exceptional skills and talent, although there were a number of well known competitors from other countries, such as European Championships and European Cup medallists, Nicola and Nathaly Telvákovi, Tomáš Lehovec from the Czech Republic, Veronika Balážová and Tomáš Gajdoš from Slovakia, Isak Murtić from Bosnia, Pranevič from Byelorussia and Gašper Rojc from Slovenia.

Thanks to a support from the tournament sponsors and the town of Ricany we could again increase the tournament level for both, competitors and spectators.

As part of the tournament, there were two special categories called ‘Best of the Best in Patterns’ and ‘Best of the Best in Sparring’.

In category ‘Best of the Best in Patterns’, Nicola Telváková won the overall champion’s cup and in category Best of the Best in Sparring (without weight restrictions) Jan Gavura from Kobukson Mladá Boleslav became the grand champion.

The best team was won by the host, Taekwon-Do Kwang Gae Říčany, who narrowly defeated Byelorussia.

After the tournament there was a traditional After Party in Sportbar Riviera (tournament sponsor), with free refreshments. During the party, two successful competitors, Kateřina Splavcová and Aleš Vyzrál, celebrated their birthdays.

The current ranking in the Czech Taekwon-do League, based on the results from the tournament:

Fight Club České Budějovice is currently the overall leader, followed by School Taekwon-Do Říčany. The third place, among 23 teams, belongs to Byelorussia.

We would like to express our gratitude to all our sponsors, supporters and referees for all the good work and are looking forward to seeing everybody next year during the 8 th International Best of the Best Tournament, which will take place on 4 th April 2011 in the Sports Hall in Ricany.

We still waiting for next photos, so for this moment just few pictures our photogalery will be done soon.
