In the term 5th-7th March 2010 there was held Senior and Junior Polish Cup in Sandomierz, which was also a test for the members of the Polish National Team before the European Championships Skovde 2010. In the tournament took part 165 seniors from 38 clubs and 107 juniors from 34 clubs.
In Junior Polish Cup can start only competitors having Red Or Black Belt, because one of the goal of this competition is qualification to National Polish Team.
To Sandomierz arrived all members form Junior and Senior Polish National Team, among them many medallists from World Championships in Argentina 2009, what made this event really interesting and spectacular for the audience. The tournament was played in repasage system, over 500 fights in patterns, sparring and special techniques.
The best senior female competitor is Marzanna Pawlik, LKT Legnica winning 1 gold and 1 silver medal. The best senior male is Dariusz Idzikowski with 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze. The best junior female is Agnieszka Aziewicz, WAT Wrocław, whereas the best junior male is Daniel Sochocki, LKS Lotos Jabłonna, both gained 2 gold medals.
