On Sunday , 6th December 2009, the second annual blackbelt grading took place at INTA HQ in Exchequer Street, Dublin, Ireland.

This was the first time black belt candidates graded under three INTA Masters, and 34 candidates put themselves forward.

The INTA has a tremendous number of candidates every grading and this year was no exception. 2009 was the first year that the examinations board of Masters O'Toole, Douglas and Martin no longer used the traditional 'preliminary' grading. Candidates now must prepare fully as they now must pay the full grading fee for their grading opportunity.
