Bulgaria and Greece meet in Bulgaria

On 7th November, in Sofia (Bulgaria) at the occasion of the Police Tournament organized by Bulgaria Association of Taekwon-Do there was a meeting between the officials from the host of this event, members from Hellenic Taekwon-Do ITF Union and a representative from Albany.

At the meeting Bulgaria was represented by Board of Directors of Bulgarian Association of Taekwon-do Mr. Vencislav Ignatov, President, Mr. Julian Iliev, Vice-President, Mr. Yavor Tasev, Secretary General, Mr. Marin Bojkov, Member, Mr. Radostin Grigorov, Member as well as by the authorities Mr. Svilen Neykov, Minister of Sports, Mrs. Yordanka Fandukova, Minister of Education and the candidate for Mayor of Sofia, Mr. Lusien Velchev, Secretary General of Sports Association of Ministry of Interior and Vice-President of European Police Sports Union, Mr. Plamen Dochevski, Secretary General of National Sports Association of Ministry of Defense. There were also many people, who has a great impact on sports development in Bulgaria: Mr. Stoyan Hranov, President of Levski Sports Club (the biggest sports in Bulgaria, developing all sports disciplines), Mr. Dimitar Monov, Sibola Consulting Company (European Projects) and numerous Representatives of Sports Associations, Municipal Mayors and Councillors.

From Greece there were presented Master Panagiotis Gialamas, the President Master Alexandris Vasilios., Mr. Dimitrios Samaras (Member of the organizing committee of the South-East European Championships.), Mr Tsepetzoglou Dimosthenis, Mr. Michalis Mouratidis and also the Albanian representative Mr. Jani Kamperi.

At this meeting there were discussed a lot of matters regarding the organization the South-East European Championships to be held in Kastoria. They also raised an issue concerning cooperation between the organizations and the programme of development to other countries of the South East area.
