The 2nd Celtic Cup took place in Llantrisant, Wales on the 3rd October 2009. Almost 200 competitors from 16 clubs around Wales and England battled it out in Patterns, Sparring, and Special Technique.

The level was high with European and World medalists taking part in the Black Belt categories.

There was also high level of competition in the colourbelts, with some exciting bouts in both Patterns and especially Sparring.

We would like to thank all who participated, and a special thanks to Direct Source (www.direcsourceuk.com) who designed the trophies and who sponsored the winning trophy-The Celtic Cup.

• 1st Place-Cardiff Taekwon-do School.
• 2nd Place-Newport.
