Sunday 4 October 2009 I.T.F. the Netherlands held his yearly umpire course for D (corner referee) and B license (center referee and jury president).

With 33 participants for D license and 2 for B license a new elite team of umpires is being made to face the challenges of the future. In de morning Sabum Patrick den Hoed (IV Degree) and Henk Schaaij (III Degree) were explaining in details for D umpires and Harry van Schaik (V Degree) for B umpires.

In the afternoon, after training the fundamental signs for center referee, everyone got the change to try as participants, corner, center, jury member and jury president the procedures, signs and tactics of a referee during a match.

Next week the C-license for patterns, team patterns, jumping, breaking and pre –arranged sparring will be explained to 24 participants.
