On 27 September the Battle of Utrecht 2009 was held in Utrecht Netherlands. The organizer of the championship was Master James Tjin-A-Ton and his wife Liesbeth Willems with the help from his club Taekwon-Do In Nae Do Kwan.

About 36 clubs with 330 competitors from Sweden, Ireland, Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany and the European and World champions of the Netherlands took part in this tournament; they compete in sparring and pattern, youth-juniors and seniors. There where not only nice prices for the winners, but also for the best overall club.

As a Taekwon-Doin one of the goals in Taekwon-Do is also social development, take care of others, “you have to give before one can receive”. So the club Taekwon-Do In Nae Do Kwan support the Association horizon (www.associationhorizon.tk) financial by donates all the entrance fee of the spectators. Because Masters are the pioneers of Taekwon-Do in a country we have made special Copper medals to honour them.
