During his summer Holliday master Willy van de Mortel and his family were in Slovenia. First they travelled to Maribor were they where the guest of Tomaz Barada and Bianca Tapilatu. In the evening Maartje and Hennita followed a training from Bianca. Jorg and master Willy did the same in a kickboxing training from Tomaz, nice experience. The next morning master Willy were giving a training with the juniors which are in training (twice a day!) already for the upcoming World Championship in Mar del Plata, Argentina. After more then 2 hours of training they got tested on their skills and searching the points were they can make still some progress.

After this training Tomaz Barada invited master Willy to come prior on the WC in Argentina over to Slovenia for a weekend to take some classes with his people who will go to Argentina. Of course master Willy agreed with this because it’s a nice hard working group.

At the same time an agreement was made between Tomaz and Willy. This regarding the two tournaments they both organiz: on the 7th of February 2010 the 4th Open Brabant Championships in the south of the Netherlands and on the 27th of February the 13th Open Slovenian in Maribor. Still there are some details to confirm but in big lines they come to an agreement. This means that the winners in the A-class on the Open Brabant championships will get some support to compete also on the Open Slovenian.

After a pleasant stay by Tomaz, Bianca and Tyra, master Willy and his family continued their holiday in Slovenia. They visit the national park Triglav and stay some day’s on the lakes of Bled and Bohinj.
