Summer time was active in Finland Taekwon-Do scene. There were organized six camps and two competitions.

Two of the camps were held in Northern Finland. Both of the Northern Finland camps were common summer camps, where all the Taekwon-Do components were trained. First one during May was held in Puolanka and another during June in Pudasjärvi.

Three camps were held in Tampere. The first camp in May was specialized for breaking. Whole weekend was owned for training of breaking. There were practiced different kind of breaking styles and exercises, as well as theory of power and breaking. The second camp in June was for children. 150 childs from different budo arts attended and trained their own and other budo arts over the long weekend. The third camp in August later on summer specialized for traditional sparring and team patterns. Theory, styles and ways of training for these less renowned subareas were practiced.

More over, a two day sparring camp in the beginning of August was held in Aitoo. The first day of the camp concentrated on free-sparring from wider perspective (low kicks, takedowns, wresting etc.) and the second day was devoted for sports-sparring.

The two summer time competitions were held in Tampere. The first competition in May was for children 15 years and younger. These 70 children competed in patterns (including saju makgi and saju jirugi for beginners), sparring (light form of sparring was "clothespin sparring") and special (only nopi chagi). The second competition in mid-June was held for celebration of 30th anniversary of Tampere Taekwon-Do club. In the power breaking partition of the competition, competitors were allowed to choose amount of boards by themselves.
