In the term from 7th May to 7th July 2009 was held second-class Taekwon-do Coach Course in Poland. It was organized to develop qualifications among Taekwon-do coaches. According to the Polish law there are following coach grades: Instructor, Second-class Taekwon-Do Coach, First-class Taekwon-Do Coach and Master- class Taekwon-Do Coach. Such a course is the best opportunity to improve coaching qualifications.
Second-class Taekwon-do Coach Course was completed by 22 attendants, list below:
The course’s time schedule consisted of 300 hours of theoretical and practical classes. Trainings and lectures were conducted by well-known Taekwon-do specialists all over the world: Master Kim Ung Lan VIIIth Degree, Master Tadeusz Loboda VIIth Degree, Master Jerzy Jedut VIIth Degree, Master Zbigniew Bujak VIIth Degree Ph.D (also worker at Faculty of Physical Education in Biala Podlaska) and recognized authorities on physical education.
Jacek Wąsik, Ph.D from Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, coach of Czestochowska Akademia Taekwon-do, gave very interesting lecturers concerning special techniques and power tests. Participants were impressed by the lecturers executed by Professor Henryk Sozanski Ph.D,who works at Jozef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw , Janusz Jaszczuk Ph.D, Barbara Długołęcka Ph.D or Krystyna Kałuża Ph.D., all from Faculty of Physical Education in Biala Podlaska.
This course was under Master Tadeusz Loboda’s eye. He was responsible for organizational matters and he also conducted organization and management in sport classes as well as theory of Taekwon-Do.
Participants acquainted with the latest achievements in the training sessions conducting and the newest instrumentation, which nowadays is really useful in the trainings planning. Besides lecturers participants spent a lot of time together having great fun at the bowling alley, sightseeing or debating till the late night hours.
The results of the summary survey showed that this course attained a great success among participants. They were pleased of the theoretical knowledge they gained as well development of their practical skills.
