ITF England and ETA President and Technical Director, Master Orello Ellis VIII degree and Nicholas Symonds V degree, along with ITF England Coach and ETA Vice President Master Thomas Denis VII degree were invited by the Jamaican TKD Association to officiate at the Continental Cup that was being held at the same time and venue as the U.S Open Martial Art Tournament in Coranado Springs, Disney World, Florida. There were 6 teams taking part; Argentina, Germany, Jamaica, New Zealand, USA and Vietnam and special Guest of Honour was ITF President Grandmaster Trân Triêu Quân. The competition was split into 2 groups and Argentina and Jamaica emerged victorious to contest the final. Jamaica ended up retaining the trophy they have held for the past 2 years. New Zealand and Germany finished 3rd. Since the competition lasted for only 3 hours there was plenty of time to enjoy the sights and sounds of Orlando, which for some was 8 hours of shopping.

Master Ellis would like to thank the Jamaican Sponsors for inviting the ETA contingent over to officiate as it also gave them the opportunity to renew acquaintances with friends from the various teams as well as officials.
