On behave of the Board of I.T.F. the Netherlands and at the initiative of the Tournament and Umpire Committee of ITF the Netherlands, international A licensed referee Kiet Tjon A Pauw, 5th degree received an Honorary Award for his accomplishments in the last 35 years as an active referee.
Kiet Tjon A Pauw started to be a referee in 1974 and has taken all the position of being a referee as corner referee, centre referee, jury member, jury president and head of national and international competitions. Besides his personal input he also was for many years the head of the National Tournament and Umpire Committee of I.T.F. the Netherlands concerning educating the new referee of the Netherlands.
Sabum Kiet Tjon A Pauw is still a highly appreciated head referee of many open competitions and at the background the advisor of the current referee committee of the I.T.F. the Netherlands. We like to thank Sabum Kiet Tjon A Pauw for his input, perseverance, knowledge and many good advises for competitions and we hope that he will be for the further.
He has told the committee that he will be an international referee for Argentina and New Zealand World Championships the next two years and we are highly grateful for this. >
