On 14th Fabruary 2009, Saturday, Youth Belgian Championships took place in Troisvierges, in 'Sporthalle'. This competition is for children from 6 to 13 years old.

For the third time it was organized as a separate tournament, only for kids, so that the youngest taekwon-do practitioners could have felt the real atmosphere of competition.

About 60 competitors and 25 referees participated. The children took part in individual pattern, team pattern, sparring and special techniques. For many children that was the first tournament. They all had a great support from their coaches, parents, friends and all spectators.

Once again it was a nice day for all participants, especially for children. In a friendly atmosphere they presented their skills and learned about competition rules.
