Assistant Instructor Course & Black Belt Grading in Norway

On Saturday, 31st January and Sunday, 1st February, in the ITF Center in Tromsoe, Norway National Assistant Instructor Course was held. The course was conducted by Master Ray Nicolaisen, VIIth Degree and Sabum Bengt Nilsen, Vth Degree.

20 people from 1st Gùp to IIIrd Degree participated in the two days’ course, which is compulsory for candidates for taking black belt test. The course presents such subjects as different types of warming up, how to give classes, teaching methods for beginners, first aid course - because it is considered to be extremely important that the black belt holder, who is also a teacher, has a minimum knowledge of first aid. There were also presented the patterns from Toi-Gye to Choi Yong as well as different types of step sparring.

During these two days there was also organized a black belt grading.

The board of examiners: Master Nicolaisen – Sabum Nilsen.
