Sunday January 11th 2009 was the day that 17 referees were educated in ITF-Netherlands. 8 referees for centre referee en 9 for corner referee. With the theoretically part in the morning and the practice in the afternoon the participants did their first part of the training.

The second part is the real deal in two competition doing the task as a referee. After this the referee is licensed. This is also a part of the testing requirements of testing for black belts in the Netherlands.

With a score of 8,2 for the course and a 9,1 for the trainers, Harry van Schaik en Patrick den Hoed were satisfied with the outcome. We are working hard with new ideas to give the status of the referee a rewarding place in the system of the sport in Taekwon-Do. Competitors and referees need each other to perform on the competition.
