National Instructor Course in Italy

Master Carmine Caiazzo in action

On November 8 and 9, 2008 F.I.TAE held its National Instructor Course for 4th degree and above.

The seminar was conducted by F.I.TAE’s technical Director Master Willem Jacob Bos 8th degree and his assistants Masters Carmine Caiazzo and Giovanni Cecconato both 7th degrees.

43 International Instructors from 4th to 6th degree participated.

Patterns from Chon-Ji to Tong-Il, self defence, steps and free sparring have been practised during the 2 days course.

The purpose of those courses is to alight the international instructors (4th-6th degree) technically and to give them the chance to practice all the patterns from Chon-Ji to Tong -Il, also to discuss various items, share some good time together and to keep the instructors motivated. The courses for FITAE's International Instructors are held regularly every year and normally in the first weekend of November.

It’s an obligation for Italian International Instructors to participate in the course. Those who not come, will not able to grade their students for the upcoming year.

However FITAE also organizes two instructor courses for 1st to 3rd degree, always one in November and the other in December. The courses are held one in the North and one in the South of Italy. Any instructor can pick one of the two courses. It’s an obligation to participate - those not coming loose the right to teach and need to appoint another instructor for their club.

Also the International Instructors have the possibility to participate at the instructor course for 1st to 3rd degree in order they do not loose the right to promote their students.

Of course I hope that the obligation is not the reason that they take part as I hope that they like to practice Taekwon-Do with me as FITAE's Technical Director – said Master Willem Jacob Bos.
