Sunday June 1st 2008 in Utrecht, sport centre Olympos were 11 candidates present to take grading for their new degree.

Under auspice of I.T.F. the Netherlands National Degree exams were held. Master Willy van de Mortel 7th Degree, Master Coos van den Heuvel 7th Degree, Art van de Lee 5th Degree, Martin Schellens 5th Degree, Harry van Schaik 5th Degree and Carlo van de Braak, 4th Degree were the examiners. Grading were for 1st up to 5th Degree.

The traditional theory (multiple choice in the Netherlands or defending their essay), pattern, sparring, self-defence, breaking were on the agenda and most of the participants showed a high performance. Martijn Lindeboom passed his 5th Degree, Rob Arens and Huy Pham passed for their 3rd Degree, Niels Floor, Petra de Munck and Mentor Emurlai passed for their 1st Degree. Unfortunate 5 people failed the testing.
