Mr. Marek Lapiński
Marshal of Lower Slesien Voivodschaft

The organizing Committee has great pleasure to inform you that the patronage of the Euros -Wroclaw 2008 has been assumed as well by Mr. Marek Lapiński - Marshal of Lower Slesien Voivodschaft.

Mr. Marek Lapinski is 37 years old. He is a graduate of the Tourism and Recreation Profile of the Faculty of Physical Education of the University School of Physical Education in Wroclaw.

Professionally he was connected with Medias. He was working as a journalist in Eska Radio in Wroclaw. He also carried out the role of editor in chief in the "Nowa Gazeta Trzebnicka" Newspaper and then he was its publisher. From 2000 to 2005 he was the Vice president of Association of Local Newspapers in Warsaw. From 1998 to 2002 he was councilor of City Trzebnica. In 2005 he took over the position of the councilor of Lower Slesien voivodshaft and in 2007 became a chairmen of the council of the Lower Slesien Region.

He is member of Society of Childrens Friends, Sport-Recreation Associaton "Polonia" in Trzebnica City.

Marek Lapinski lives in Trzebnica City, he has wife and two children.

I also express my sincere belief that the event of such high level will be a perfect form of promotion of this sport, as well as our voivodshaft.
