AETF HQ informs that during the AETF BD meeting held on January 12th, 2008 in Lublin were made some changes in the AETF Competition rules. Below you can find all the changes:

1. Square size will be 9 by 9 meters floor space with the option of 8 by 8 meters.
   A safe and surface slip resistant jig saw - padding floor must be used at all times. (Article 11)
2. Pre-arranged free sparring.
   The Pre-arranged free sparring will be played according to the pyramid system as by team pattern.
   (It was added in the article 17 concerning division of competition: and Pre-arranged free sparring.)
3. In the article 18 following sentence is removed: “Changes of the team competitors are not allowed once they have been indicated for the various team events.”
   It means that now it is possible to choose team members for each category from 10 competitors.
4. In the individual competition in the first scored point bout the winner will be indicated by at least 2 corner referees instead of 3 like it was before.
   From now Article 32 (V) will sounds as follows:
   When two (2) corner referees give a decision in favor of one competitor in case of the first cored point bout then that competitor is the winner.

The decisions are valid from the January 12th 2008.
