Spec. Techniques/Power Breaking - EC08

The Organizing Committee of Euros 2008 in cooperation with Master Coos v/d Heuvel - the Chairman of the AETF Tournament and Umpire Committee and Master Jerzy Jedut – the AETF Secretary General, have updated the numbers of boards for power breaking and the heights/lengths for Special Techniques on Euros 2008 in Wroclaw (Poland).

The changes were made on the ground of the analysis of the last two European Championships. It was decided to increase heights of some special techniques because they were too small for the majority of competitors and caused many extra matches. It was also decided to decrease the numbers of boards in some power breaking techniques. This decision was based on the fact that the available boards are turned out to be very hard and the injuries occurred very often.

Below approved table of heights of special techniques and numbers of boards valid during the European Championships 2008 in Wroclaw.
