Newsletter Newsletter 1/2008 Primorsky Kray Junior Championships

Primorsky Kray is a region of Russia, in the boards with North Korea, with very good Taekwon-Do traditions. From 17th to 18th of November 2007 was held the Junior Championships of Primorsky Kray in the city of Ussurysk.

The organizer was the President of Primorsky Kray Regional Federation – Mr. Vladimir Li. Vladimir was a World Champion in 3rd Degree Tul division in Argentina 1999. The head coach of Primorsky Kray Regional Federation is a 5th degree holder Vitaly Kim.

 
 
 

Among the guests was the President of All Russia Taekwon-do Federation Lazos Tsilfidis who traveled 8 hours by airplane from Moscow for this event.

Among other guests was the Consul of North Korea and Vice-consul of South Korea. In his speech at the opening ceremony the Consul of North Korea said that “Taekwon-Do create friendship among deferent nations” and gave a very beautiful hand maid painting with Korean nature to the organizers.

The championships were organized on very good level with very good prizes and were attended by many participants from the Far East regions of Russia.
